A tenth-generation Tennessean, R. J. is thankful to call Knoxville his home. Supply Chain Management trained at The University of Tennessee, he has devoted much of his professional career to studying operational systems through roles in strategic buying, risk management, corporate training, systems analysis and process improvement in a variety of industries. He brings with his experience high standards of efficiency and stewardship coupled with a passion for elegant design and robust problem-solving.
As a real-estate advisor, he enjoys helping solve the problems that present themselves at all different stages of the home-ownership journey. He champions investment in historic preservation balanced with responsible redevelopment and urban planning. As a designer he is immersed in the intersection of beauty with functionality, often through the lens of adaptive reuse. He believes the most powerful work harmonizes across disciplines and throughout time.
